A New Kendall & Kylie Line Is Coming In Spring '16

by Kali Borovic

As if three fashion collaborations wasn't enough, Kendall and Kylie Jenner are designing a contemporary line. With a hefty style resumé and very large followings, there's no doubt in my mind that their latest creations will be fabulous.

According to Racked, the girls will be debuting their contemporary line, Kendall + Kylie, in spring 2016. Each piece is set for under $250 and will retail at Saks, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Shopbop, and Revolve.com. So although you'll be spending a bit more money on the new pieces than, say, their PacSun collection, you'll be getting 100% Kendall and Kylie approved merch.

“This is all us. It’s enjoyable to be able to fully create,” Kendall told WWD during an interview. “It’s a lot different from our Topshop and PacSun collections because those were both collaborations, so they obviously had a say in everything."

And although they're looking for a more hands-on approach to design, the sisters told WWD that they will not be the face of the brand. The dresses, tops, jeans, jumpsuits, and trench coats might be modeled by someone else, but the two made clear in their interview with WWD that the pieces will be exactly what they would want to wear.

The two recently stepped out sporting looks from the new collection, and from the looks of it, the outfits show how much the girls have grown since their previous designs. Based on the few pictures shown, the clothing seems much more sleek and Jenner-ified than their bright and loose-fitting PacSun and TopShop collections. The dark and sophisticated Kendall + Kylie looks seem to be the perfect mix between Kendall's model vibe and Kylie's edgy meets Cali cool style.

With past fashion endeavors including collaborations with PacSun, Steve Madden, and TopShop under their stylish belts, the girls have been busy making a name for themselves in the design world. It'll be interesting to see how their combined 72 million followers on social media take to their new collection.

Let's hope there will be many more sneak peeks before spring 2016!
