The Fall Wardrobe Staples You'll Wear All Season

Without fail, I build my own little capsule collection for every season, which I rotate aggressively until the weather shifts. You know how it is: You find that perfect pair of jeans, a pair of shoes that miraculously go with everything, a handful of staple tops that pair effortlessly with all your bottoms, a purse you wear religiously until it literally falls apart, that jacket that you can throw on over everything ... I could go on. No matter how many "trendy" pieces I pick up, or new things I try to work into my regular lineup, it's hard to deviate. But that's not necessarily a bad thing — and once you've built up an arsenal of pieces you genuinely love, you can mix and match your little heart out for as long as the weather allows.

This is particularly simple if you're not huge on color. When all your key players lie in the same color family, or at least lean towards neutral, then the combination potential is virtually endless. If you're like me, your closet is a sea of black, grey, white, denim, and maybe some burgundy, navy, and dark green. And if you are into brights and patterns, those are easy to mix in for a pop of extra interest. Whether your style is athletic-inspired, boho, classic, minimalist, or anywhere in between, we've teamed up with Abercrombie & Fitch to bring you the staple pieces to get you inspired this fall (and to make your getting-ready process easier than ever).
