The New Tom Ford Lip Collection Costs A Casual $2K

There's nothing more satisfying than breaking open a new tube of lipstick – and what if you had fifty of them? Tom Ford's new Lip and Boys collection will be on sale for $1,950 this Black Friday, and I'm going to go ahead and say that's just a *tad* unattainable for most of us.

Normally when I hit up Black Friday sales, I'm expecting to save some money. Apparently, the jokes on me, because with this bad boy collection I'll have to be saving money for the next three months. According to Elle, if you do the math it comes out to about $18.93 dollars a day. Um, count me out.

We can totally admire this set from afar, though. The Lip and Boys collection will contain Tom Ford's 25 best selling lipsticks and 25 new shades – which, by the way, look amazing. No word on what the exact colors of the new shades will be, but thanks to the blessing that is beauty editors and press events, previews of the collection have been blowing up Instagram this week. If you squint hard enough, you can get idea of what the range will look like, including dreamy purples, moody magentas, and frosty pinks.

This collection is one of my dreams, but unfortunately I don't have a spare two-thousand dollars laying around. I think I'll have to stick to collecting one at a time for now. With a little sweat, tears, and dedication, owning all fifty of these beautiful creations is definitely a reasonable goal. Even if I can't own the full set, I'd still love to get my hands on the new releases.
