Here Are The Best Style Tips From Kim K's New Site

Get ready to add a bookmark your web browser’s bar — and yank out your credit card so you can get access to said bookmark. Kim Kardashian West’s style website is finally live and it's absolutely dense with information (though you'll need a subscription to access it). It serves to provide answers and inspiration in both the fashion and beauty spheres. It's like having the most famous Kardashian as your makeup artist, personal stylist, and virtual shopping buddy.

Let's get one thing outta the way first: Yes, the site is incredibly self-indulgent. It's all about Kim's looks, Kim's likes, and Kim's life. But that's exactly what I expected going into it and I wasn't disappointed.

The best thing about it? It's not Kim just sitting around and talking about how fabulous her life is. She's also happy to share some tips about how to make your ownlife quite fabulous as well.

KKW offers useful information for beauty mavens and fashion addicts. You get a motherload of fashion tips, strobing videos, explanations of her outfits, and she even penned a personal, first person essay about her pregnancy style that made her feel very relatable and real. She comes across as insanely likable.

There is a lot of information packed into the space, so you'll want to carve out some quality time for it, as opposed to casually browsing.

To get you hooked, here are the six best fashion and beauty tips from the September launch.

1. Her Favorite Things

She will share her favorite things for each month, from makeup to skincare. Don't worry. It’s not all stuff you can't afford and are left to simply lust after. This month, she is all about C.O. Bigelow's Coconut body lotion ($14), which she and Yeezy travel with, and Mama Mio The Tummy Rub Butter ($36) for her expanding belly. So this stuff is certainly useful and feels less "endorsed" than a tweet posted for a marketing company.

2. Get Your Strobe On

There’s a strobing tutorial with her makeup artist. Strobing is broken down as "highlighting without contouring" and a technique that brings out the high points of the face, like the cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and inner corners of eyes. This is a really valuable video if you want to try this makeup trend.

3. Lash Out

Kim loves her some mega lashes. She's essentially Kim Kar-lash-ian. She does offer a range of options to help you achieve fluttery false lashes at all different price points. From the lesser known Esqido Voila brand to the drugstore available Eyelure offerings, you're getting Kimmy's first person advice here.

4. Fashion BFFs

You get some access to Kim’s BFFs, like Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy. She offers a rundown of her Givenchy outfits and who styled them. If you are a Kim fashion stan, she certainly opens a Pandora's box of information.

Carine Roitfeld styled the infamous jumpsuit with open-toe leather boots, FYI!

5. Dissection

No, it’s not biology class. Kim explains how she loves pairing neutrals with black when in NYC for an urban chic look. She even offers some affordable options to copy her looks. That's key, since most of the site's subscribers have much smaller bank accounts than she!

Kimmy also gives North West's style a little real estate, in case you have kids and want to keep 'em fashionable, too.

6. Straight Talk

My favorite thing of all was her frank discussion of her pregnancy style in the "From the Desk of Kim" post. She admits to now being mortified at some of her looks when North was gestating. She admits didn't even know her personal style at the time and made some poor clothing choices.

Now, she is confident in her signature style and is happy to accentuate, rather than hide, her bump! It was an honest and beautiful confession that she, too, is human and can be insecure. But she has grown and she knows her body and her style, and how to dress a bump now.

There is a lot of fun and functional information on the site. If you are all about all things Kim, then get yourself a subscription.
