7 Best Styles From Kendall Jenner's New Website

by Julia Guerra

I wasn’t always a Kardashian-Jenner fan, but around the same time I started writing about fashion was when the eldest Jenner started modeling it. Kendall Jenner launched KendallJ.com on Monday, and it’s safe to say I’ve found my new obsession. It’s been favorited, bookmarked, and has become one of the first to pop up on my most-visited tabs in under 24 hours.

This Jenner sister was born for runway, and there’s no denying her keen eye for style. Between capturing the heart of Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, fronting campaigns for Calvin Klein and Givenchy (among others high end labels) to collaborating with Topshop and PacSun on collections with baby sister Kylie, there must be some fashionable enzyme embedded in her DNA.

I would describe Jenner’s website as a clothing collage. She invites readers into her closet (literally), and provides a look book specific to her style. The content is also short, sweet, and to the point. It’s clear that her passions lie in clothes and beauty, so it makes sense that the majority of the page is product focused.

Quantity, however, is hardly synonymous to quality. I can assure you that while Jenner may be a woman of few words, she relays to her readers valuable styling tips and insider on-trend info. Of course, this top secret information comes at a price. You’ll be paying a fee of $2.99/month to get the inside scoop on all things Kendall Jenner, but trust me when I say it’s well worth admission.

Check out seven of Kendall Jenner's best styles featured on kendallj.com below, and I'll let you decide for yourself whether or not to hop on the digital Jenner express.

1. Gray On Black

Sweater

Beanie

Jenner would like to remind us that black is always on-trend, but this fall she's deciding to lighten things up a bit by wearing a few gray separates to brighten up her wardrobe.

Topshop Necklace Sweater, $60.00, topshop.com; Forever 21 Waffle Knit Beanie, $8.00, forever21.com

2. Design On A Dime

The Top

The Bottoms

Jenner walked for Givenchy this NYFW and loved the styles so much, she provided a budget-friendly alternative for us.

Forever21 Lace Overlaw Top, $22.90, forever21.com; Alfani Black Trousers, $54.50, macys.com

3. Sunny Style

The Dress

The Shoes

What I love about Jenner's "What I Wear To Beat The Heat" is it includes all transitional pieces that can play a part in every seasonal wardrobe. The dress above is very on-trend as the '90s are making a comeback. It just embodies Cher Horowitz meets Rollin' With The Homies. As for the shoes, who doesn't love flashy footwear?

Out From Under Dress, $44.00, urbanoutfitters.com; Jazzlyn Espadrilles, $21.50, asos.com

4. Menswear Mogul

Pointed Faux Leather Loafers, $22.90, forever21.com

This Jenner enjoys a bit of tomboy swag every once in awhile. She enjoys piecing together feminine and masculine separates, and menswear-esque shoes make for a great accessory.

ASOS Oxford Shoes, $98.53, asos.com

5. Courtside Crops

Only a model can dress to the nines to a football game without everyone rolling their eyes. I say yes to the crop top (though I'm more of a jersey girl myself), and love to the gladiators.

Cotton Spandex Sleeveless Crop Top, $26.00, americanapparel.net; Jeffrey Campbell Duchess Suede Knee High Bootie, $270.00, nastygal.com

6. Party Favorites

The Turtleneck

The Booties

Jenner's subtly sexy, and shows off her curves in sheer tops such as the turtleneck above. She's pretty tall already, but I'm in love with these heeled booties.

Nasty Gal Leigh Sheer Turtleneck, $48.00, nastygal.com; Calvin Klein 'Laneige' Lace-Up Lugged Booties, $188.95, nordstrom.com

7. Backpacks Back — Alright?

Backpacks are not just for school, and if Kendall Jenner has given this scholarly sack a thumbs up, it's got my approval.

ASOS Structured Pocket Backpack, $69.00, asos.com; Buy Kin by John Lewis Gia Backpack, $68.00, johnlewis.com

See? The site just may be worth the $2.99 — but you'll also have to factor in the added cost of all the time you'll spend shopping after browsing Kendall J's site.
