Hillary Introduced Miley & Everyone's Losing It

While the episode may have started a bit more mildly than many of us expected, Miley Cyrus performed on SNL and got plenty of attention for her antics, and her enormous, floor length wig. But the thing that got people really going was the fact that after her killer sketch with Kate McKinnon, Hillary Clinton introduced Miley Cyrus' SNL performance. Apparently, the combination of the woman who could possibly be the first woman president introducing Cyrus (the woman who's so concerned that you don't remember that she smokes pot, that she mentions it roughly every five seconds) was just too much for everyone to handle.

For me, the fact that Cyrus was wearing a wig that looked like the thing you pull out of your drain in college when four women are sharing a single bathroom was far more outrageous, but that didn't stop Twitter. Perhaps it was because Cyrus started with a ballad that's likely unfamiliar to anyone who's not a Cyrus megafan — "Karen Don't Be Sad" from her new album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz — but, either way, at the end of the song, it was clear that real winner in outrageousness Olympics that is every season premiere of SNL was Clinton.

Not only did she make us all giggle during her sketch, she basically upstaged the queen of garnering attention, Miley freaking Cyrus. You go, Hillary.

And if you disagree, and think Cyrus and her wig were the true center of attention, I've got a little taste of that for you too:

It's been a weird night, you guys. Watch the full video below:
