'Happy Endings' is Officially Canceled

by Sam Rullo

You can stop writing tear-riddled letters to ABC now: Happy Endings is officially over and not returning for a fourth season. When ABC first announced that it would not be renewing the Chicago-set comedy, there was still hope that it would be picked up by another network. Alas, after weeks of Sony shopping it around to USA and other cable networks, no one claimed it.

Today, the cast's contracts expired, ending any chance of a late renewal. Happy Endings was underrated for most of its run, especially considering its extremely talented cast that included Casey Wilson, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans Jr., and Elisha Cuthbert. Hopefully we'll see them all on TV again soon.
