Whole Foods To Start Selling Jell-O Shots

Jell-O shots are great and all, but I hate how time-consuming they are to make, and while I find the concept of jiggly, cherry-flavored alcohol delightful, I've often wondered if all that long-lasting counter stickiness is worth it. But the good news, nay, the great news that I am sharing today throws all those cons out the window: Whole Foods will sell Jell-O shots soon, and yeah, I screeched, too. You no longer need to make your own Jell-O shots — you can simply go out and buy them.

Ludlow's Cocktail Co., a New York and Los Angeles-based craft cocktail "jelly shot" business, is teaming up with Whole Foods to bring us treats like Fresh Lime Margarita shots, and Moscow Mule shots — and oh yeah, they are pre-made! You don't have to do a single thing except slurp them down.

The best part is that these Jell-O shots are all grown up. They're classy. They show my guests that I have moved past my famous party trick of blowing handfuls of glitter in peoples' faces, and they still pack a punch. The shots are 30-proof (15 percent alcohol), don't require a fridge, and come in these really cute little Jell-O cup servings. Go ahead and take a look for yourself:

As of now, the shots are only being sold in Sherman Oaks West, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, and Encinitas Whole Foods branches. If you live in California, then I am insanely jealous of you. If you don't live in California, then let's hope really, really hard that Whole Foods starts carrying these nationwide like really soon. OK, Whole Foods? We're counting on you.
