New Body Positive Website RunwayRiot Is Here

by Augusta Statz

Well, let the riot begin! The fashion riot, that is! RunwayRiot.com launched today, the new size-inclusive website aimed at catering to the plus size community. According to a press release, the new website, which was formerly Styleite will “offer a beautiful, sexy and inspirational home for the over 60% of American women who wear what the industry refers to as 'plus-sized' clothes.” And that’s something I can get behind.

The site was first announced back in October, but now that it’s officially launched, it’s time to actually enjoy all of what this first-of-its-kind site has to offer. Based on the content so far, the publication is still talking about all of the things you love to read about — Adele, Kendall Jenner, and the like — but from a body-positive angle. For example, an article about Jenner details how she made a body-shamed man feel better about himself. Now, that’s definitely not typical Kardashian coverage, and that’s just the kind of thing that makes RunwayRiot so special. What else would you expect with oh-so-body-posi Iskra Lawrence as the Managing Editor, you know?

Along with amazing articles about celebrities, body image and more, there’s also a curated shop full of size-inclusive pieces. So, you can get your reading and your shopping done all in the same place. Doesn’t the thought of that just brighten you day?
