8 Ways To Rock A Gigi-Approved Ponytail

by Marc Cuenco

Further proving that she's the most versatile model among her peers, Gigi Hadid's Numéro magazine cover shows her more serious side (hello, Slay-Z). Hadid is also featured inside the December/January issue of the fashion publication wearing Balmain and a serious case of the high ponytail. Needless to say, the 20-year-old looks stunning while adding another major cover to her growing modeling resumé.

Wearing a black leotard with cutouts designed by her pal Olivier Rousteing, Hadid intensely stares into the camera with one arm on her hip and the other slightly tugging at her high pony. She looks ready for battle just like her "Bad Blood" music video alter ego Slay-Z, but the look is also reminiscent of '90s Blond Ambition Madonna. Renowned photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino (who has often worked with the Queen of Pop) shot the Numéro cover and accompanying editorial. In another photo, Hadid is wearing a black fishnet top with ruffled leather pants. Rousteing appears alongside his muse in another shot.

After walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, followed by a gorgeous cover of Vogue Italia, the year 2015 is definitely ending on a high note for Hadid. Who knows what the new year has in store for the hardworking model.
