Ben Higgins' Tattoo Mistake Makes Him More Lovable

There's a lot to love about Ben Higgins. He's kind, genuine, fun, and even has a small imperfection that seems to make me like him even more. Yes, our Bachelor, Ben Higgins, has a tattoo that has a mistake on it, yet it oddly makes him way more lovable. On the Channel 33 podcast, Ben told a story about getting his tattoo, which we've seen so much of this season (shout out to the many Jacuzzi dates peppered throughout the first few episodes). According to Ben, the tattoo, which he got as a freshman in college, had an extra number "4" added to it — something he didn't notice until his roommate pointed it out post-ink.

It's probably one of the worst things an apprehensive tattoo parlor-goer can think of, but of course Ben handled it like a rockstar. The tattoo Ben initially wanted to get was Proverbs 16:3, which reads, "commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Unfortunately, Ben's tattoo artist mistook his spacing instructions on the written out version of the tattoo and included the "4" for the fourth line of text. So, instead of "Proverbs 16:3" his tattoo read "Proverbs 16:34."

Luckily, Proverbs 16 ends at verse 33, meaning he wasn't stuck referencing a verse that maybe doesn't jibe with the actual passage he has tattooed on him.

Ben told Channel 33 that he went back to the tattoo parlor and had them cover it up with a cross. So, when you're looking at his body (because you are) know that underneath that cross there's a "4" that wants to come out to play. Also, don't worry about Ben getting taken for a ride by the tattoo parlor. He tells Channel 33 that he got some money back from the shop for the mistake and the correction was on them (as it should be). Although I guarantee that because he's such a nice guy, Ben left a good Yelp review. That's just the type of man he is. You can hear Bustle gush more about Ben in our podcast below:
