We Tried To Recreate Kylie's Daily Makeup Routine

In a world filled with makeup gurus, arguably no one garners as much frenzied enthusiasm as the youngest Jenner sister. So when Kylie Jenner revealed her daily makeup routine as an exclusive video on her paid subscription app and website, it's no surprise that people were clamoring to switch their own everyday look to be a little more like Kylie's. Bustle included.

The thing, we learned, about Jenner's makeup routine is that it's not exactly hard — but it certainly involves far more very specific steps than the majority of us would subject ourselves to at 7 AM every morning. There original step-by-step video (shot in Jenner's enormous "Glam Room" by one of Jenner's friends on an iPhone) features a lot of skincare, a heavy emphasis on contouring of all types, and instruction for curling your lashes "to the Gods." While we didn't have the type of enormous, ring-lit mirror she recommends, we did get our hands on pretty much all the same products she uses.

After hours of trying to figure out the difference between a "fluffy brush" and a "small fluffy brush," it became clear that Jenner deserves way more credit than we give to her. This lip liner stuff is no joke. Check out the clip below, and be sure to subscribe to Bustle on YouTube for more Beauty Mark videos!
