Seth Cohen Fans, Read This With Tissues

by Ivy Jacobson

Oh no, Adam Brody. Oh no you don't. Your loyal The O.C. fans are too fragile because they miss Seth Cohen too much to hear this sad news. Don't you do this to us. But you did. And we'll just have to attribute it to Seth's wacky sense of humor because you are Seth. But anyway. In Nylon 's March issue, Adam Brody was asked about his upcoming film, Welcome to the Jungle. But since what we not-so-secretly always want to reminisce and hear about is Seth Cohen. SETH Cohen. SETH COHEN.

So when the New Girl and House of Lies actor was told in the interview that The O.C had just celebrated its 10th anniversary (holy whoa), he was naturally asked what he thought that Seth Cohen was up to now. You know, what jokes he's told lately, what comic books he bought last week, how he and Summer are doing. You know, the happy, funny, usual stuff.

If I had to predict, I'd say Seth Cohen is dead, Brody says.

Um, WHAT? What, Adam/Seth? Be still, my heart. We all know you're way too cute for such a sick joke.Brody continued:

I think he'd be going down to Mexico and probably had a bad car accident. It wasn't any fault of his own, but yeah, knowing what I know now about Seth and his poor decision-making, that's my guess.

Poor decision making? No! Happy-go-lucky. Down-to-earth. Endearing. All qualities of our 8th grade husband. Not dead. And Mexico? Car accident? What are you trying to do to us? Then, just as dejected as the rest of us, the interviewer says, "I was going to ask you what bands you thought he'd be into these days, but if he's dead, then I guess that doesn't matter...?"

Brody then heartlessly replied:

No! I mean, he's probably hanging out in heaven watching Jimi Hendrix and Lou Reed live. He's probably getting the best concert ever!

I'm just... I'm too upset to even finish writing this article. What NOW, Seth?! WHAT NOW?!
