Ben Should Support JoJo On 'The Bachelorette'

by Caroline Gerdes

Season 20 of The Bachelor may have ended with Ben Higgins proposing to Lauren Bushnell, but fans rooting for Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher didn’t even have time to be disappointed with the ending. Just minutes later, it was announced that JoJo will be the next Bachelorette, giving cause for celebration. While I'm sure that many fans are eager to watch her find love, there's someone I'm not so sure about. Will Ben watch JoJo on The Bachelorette ?

Being Facebook friends with an ex can be difficult enough, so I can only imagine what it would be like to watch a former partner you once told that you loved (on national television) date a bunch of other people (also on national television). But if Ben’s time on The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe taught us anything, it’s that he is a good sport who isn't afraid to share honest emotions and make a real connection. He also has played the game himself as a contestant turned Bachelor, so he understands JoJo’s unique situation and the drama that will be thrown her way. Despite how hard it could be to watch your ex fall in love, Ben is such a devout member of Bachelor nation, I think may actually watch the show. Though he hasn't confirmed whether he'll be tuning in, these clues from Ben's social media suggest he may support JoJo when The Bachelorette premieres.

He Still Talks To Kaitlyn Bristowe & Shawn Booth

Ben spoke to them online as recently as March 14, even though technically, Kaitlyn is sort of like an ex.

He Also Talks To Chris Soules

Ben seems super keyed into the Bachelor universe.

He Congratulated Shawn & Kaitlyn

And he did it in a timely manner. Ergo, he was probably watching The Bachelorette despite losing.

He Watched Bachelor In Paradise

So Ben is a fan of every Bachelor franchise, not just the shows he was personally on.

He Respects Kaitlyn Bristowe

He only had good things to say about her post-Bachelorette.

He Makes Real Friends

According to his social media, Ben makes real friendships and connections with people he has met on the reality shows, and JoJo should be no exception. With so much good will towards Kaitlyn and his love of all things Bachelor, I think we'll soon see Ben tweeting his support as he watches her look for love on The Bachelorette.
