Adele Breaks Her Silence On 'Lemonade'

Ever since Beyoncé blessed the world with her HBO special and subsequent album, Lemonade on April 23, it seems Beyoncé fever is running as rampant as ever, with everyone from celebrities to millions (yes, seriously, millions) of normal people taking to Twitter to freak out over Queen Bey's latest work of art. The special racked up over 4.1 million tweets during the premiere, proving the power of Bey is real. Fellow pop artists have come forward to publicly praise the former Destiny's Child singer for her work, including Demi Lovato and The Weeknd, and now Adele has spoken out on Lemonade , in the way only Adele could.

Adele doesn't frequently tweet or share personal photos on Instagram, but when she does, it's epic. She posted an Instagram on Tuesday to let her followers know just how deeply she felt about Lemonade, and she managed to be both heartfelt and hilarious... but would you expect any less from Adele?

Posed next to what looks like an enormous Beyoncé poster, Adele looks as if she's been crying some lemony tears, and her caption declares that she's been "speechless" about Lemonade in the 10 days since its debut. Check out the amazing photo here:

Honestly, is there anyone cuter than Adele? Although, it's worth noting that it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Adele is a proud member of the Beyhive. She's given Beyoncé effusive praise in the past, telling Rolling Stone in 2011 about their first meeting. She said,

I was about to meet Beyoncé, and I had a full-blown anxiety attack. Then she popped in looking gorgeous, and said, "You're amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I'm listening to God." Can you believe she said that?

Adele expressed her love of Bey once again in late 2015 when a pesky rumor popped up that she'd turned her down for a duet, and Adele was, naturally, indignant at this accusation. She told Zane Lowe in an interview with Beats 1, "There is a rumor going around that I turned Beyoncé down... Just to clear up, I would never be so disrespectful. I would never disrespect her like that. I’m such a fan, oh my God!" Later on in the same interview, Adele shared some of her favorite musicians, including Lana Del Rey and the Alabama Shakes. But her number one favorite? "Obviously, Queen Bey to the day I die."

So there you have it. Adele, like the rest of the world, is an obsessive member of the Beyhive. Now, I can't be alone in wanting this duet between Queens A and B to materialize. Come on, ladies. I seriously am not sure if the world could handle these two legends in the same song. Talk about #blessed for real.
