Justin Bieber’s Tour Merch Is Pretty Pricey

by Eliza Florendo

If you're a Belieber and dying to get your hands on some of Justin Bieber's "Purpose" tour merch, but don't have a ticket to his tour, you're in luck: You can now buy some items from a capsule collection with Barneys, but it comes with a pretty hefty price tag. I'm talking about a $1,675 dollar jacket. If you couldn't swing the big bucks for the tickets, I'm not so sure how this particular jacket will fare in your budget.

Back in March, we got a little sneak peek of Bieber's "Purpose" tour merch, thanks to Complex. In it, we found some pretty dope vintage inspired tees, crewneck sweatshirts, baseball shirts, and hoodies, all emblazoned with portraits of the Biebs along with "World Tour" and "Purpose World Tour" written out in Gothic style lettering. I'm not going to lie—it was probably the coolest tour merch I've seen in a long time.

Bieber kept adding more pieces to his collection, most notably a t-shirt that read "My mama don't like you." Need. Right now. And now, Biebs' merch has hit an all time high: Justin Bieber and Barneys will partner on a capsule collection, according to The New York Times.

In case you didn't know, this is insanity. According to The New York Times, this is the first time that Barneys is going to carry a musician's merchandise for their tour.

So what exactly can we expect from the capsule collection? Aside from the normal t-shirts, jerseys, and jeans, you can also purchase that gorgeous leather jacket above. At a hefty price tag of almost $1,700. But hey—if you've got the stacks, why not? The lower end pieces will be around $95. That's a big range.

And, in just two days, on July 16th, that collection will launch.

But how cool is this sleeveless tee?

Jay Bell, senior vice president at Barneys, told The New York Times,"It was a no-brainer for me. It is the first time we’ve done it, but it felt right. It felt like something that would resonate with our customers, and that could sit seamlessly with the other brands we sell.”

Seems like the buzz is already building, though.

I am feeing that last reaction Tweet. What do you do when you're all about that leather jacket, but have to pay rent and bills? Not quite sure. I can stay away from a concert. But I can't stay away for Barneys. Sorry, wallet, but I'm going to disappoint you.
