'Brandy Bunch' Star Florence Henderson Has Died

Sad news out of Hollywood today as The Brady Bunch star Florence Henderson has died at age 82, according to a USA Today report. Entertainment Tonight reported that a rep for the star said the actor died surrounded by her family after suffering from heart failure. Henderson was best known for playing Carol Brady, the mom on The Brady Bunch, but she had an illustrious life before and after that career-defining show. She also starred on The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Murder She Wrote, and more. In 2010 she also competed on Dancing With The Stars and supported her fellow Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick during her own DWTS stint this past season.

McCormick was quick to pay tribute to Henderson following her death, tweeting a message for her former TV mom. "Florence Henderson was a dear friend for so very many years & in my <3 forever. Love & hugs to her family. I'll miss u dearly," she wrote on Twitter. McCormick, who played Marcia Brady on The Brady Bunch, was far from the only star to pay tribute to Henderson. As USA Today reported, everyone from DWTS judges to fellow actors to Weird Al Yankovic took to Twitter to write notes of mourning for the talented TV star.

Henderson will be missed in the acting world by many, but her impeccable rendition of Carol Brady and her other roles will live on in fans' hearts for decades to come.
