Nicki Minaj's Moble Game Comes With A New Song

Just when you thought that having Tidal, Apple Music, Spotify, and iTunes would be enough to ensure that you could listen to any and all music that your little heart desires, one of the foremost rappers in the game right now releases a track that turns everything on its head. So how can you listen to Nicki Minaj's new song "Ain't Gone Do It"? Well, I hate to break it to you and your streaming platforms, but it seems like the only way to officially get your hands on this banger is by downloading Minaj's new mobile game, The Empire .

The app is designed by Glu, the same people who brought you Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Kendall & Kylie, and Britney Spears: American Dream. Plus, it lets you customize a cartoonish little avatar, who interacts with cartoon Nicki Minaj as you write songs and record them with your actual voice. It sounds like a pretty neat game, and it's even neater considering that you get a free download of "Ain't Gone Do It" with the purchase of Nicki Minaj: The Empire.

It's the perfect song to blast while you're feeling yourself at the gym, or when you need a burst of energy to be productive in your apartment. If downloading an addictive game is the price to pay for owning it, I'm perfectly happy to make that happen. But, if you aren't convinced yet, fans have already begun tweeting clips of the song out for other fans to enjoy.

Ultimately, the only sure-fire way to guarantee yourself access to "Ain't Gone Do It" is by snagging an official download of NM: TE. As of right now, at least, the song is exclusive through the app to give you some incentive to shell out for it. However, everything about this app release has been a little slapped-together so far. For example, Minaj apparently didn't even know the game was being released Tuesday night until it was already live. The song might be released separately as well, once everybody's back on the same page.

Either way, "Ain't Gone Do It" is my new girl-power anthem, but I don't expect anything less from a queen like Minaj.
