Lana Del Rey's Relationship? It's Complicated

This singer's ex-boyfriend is suffering from a serious case of "Summertime Sadness" following their breakup. (Sorry, could not resist that one.) According to Lana Del Rey's interview with Switzerland's 20 Minuten, Del Rey and rumored fiance Barrie-James O'Neill have broken up after three years together. Del Rey told the site:

We are currently not together. [O'Neill] is a wonderful person, but there are some things with which he has to deal. I will not explain it in detail. This was hard on our relationship, I no longer felt free.

For notorious free spirit/perpetually sleepy singer Del Rey, feeling "free" does seem like something that would be vital to her relationships, right up there with an affinity for moody lighting and low talking. Unfortunately, no one told O'Neill that he and Del Rey were done, because TMZ found the lead singer of Scottish folk band, Kassidy, and asked him about his alleged breakup with Del Rey.

According to O'Neill, O'Neill and Del Rey are still together and their relationship is far from "over." Unless 20 Minuten fabricated Del Rey's quotes (which there's no evidence of, currently) someone should really inform O'Neill of his newly single status. Maybe Del Rey can leave him a Post-It note, a'la Sex and the City .

Del Rey may have just broken up with O'Neill, but that hasn't stopped the world from speculating about who Del Rey was dating while they were still together.

A$AP Rocky

A$AP Rocky co-starred with Del Rey in her music video for "National Anthem," in which he played JFK and she played Jackie O. The two had some very real music video chemistry, making people question whether there was any offscreen romancing going down. A$AP Rocky told Noisey that Del Rey didn't have a boyfriend (she did) and admitted this to the interviewer:

I used to wanna do her, I used to wanna bone her but after this video I don’t like her like that no more, I just think she’s cool, know what I’m sayin?

Uh, yeah, we know what you're saying.

Shannon Leto

A photo of Leto and Del Rey heading to the Chateau Marmont hit the web in 2012, making paparazzi speculate that the two are, in fact, a couple. Del Rey apparently loves the Chateau Marmont, but at the time, she was also still loving O'Neill.

Marilyn Manson

Page Six informed the world that the shock rocker and Del Rey were spotted together in Berlin in March 2012. Quite frankly, she's totally his type. "Born to Die" could have easily been a Manson song... albeit one with a very different sound.

Axl Rose

What happens at the Chateau Marmont does not stay at the Chateau Marmont. These two sparked dating rumors when they were seen leaving the hotel together. It probably didn't help that Del Rey has a song called "Axl Rose Husband."
