Ever since Raven-Symoné resurfaced post-That's So Raven on Broadway in Sister Act, there has been rampant speculation about her sexuality. The actress usually kept that part of her life to herself, responding on Twitter without confirming or denying anything, with a tweet like the following: "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."
But now, the star has made a more definitive statement, tweeting just about an hour ago about the legalization of gay marriage in some states.
Even though gay marriage was legalized in Minnesota just Thursday, since Symoné doesn't live in the state she is likely referring to the Supreme Court overturning the Defense of Marriage Act in June. We're glad to see Symoné excited about her future, and that she decided to share this part of her life with the public. There's no sign that Symoné plans to marry anytime soon, but it's nice to know that she can in the future. When will it happen? Maybe we should ask her.
