The Teaser For 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Is Cray

by Emma Goddard

The first time post-apocalyptic movie, Mad Max, was released was in 1979 when Mel Gibson was more youthful and extremely attractive. Since then, there was a Mad Max 2, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, and now, Comic-Con has revealed a trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, the fourth installment which is in the works for a May 15, 2015 release date.

The film, which will again include director George Miller who worked on all the previous movies with Gibson, will also involve Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky and Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa. The film will even include JLaw’s boo Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who I’m sure is hoping to redeem herself after Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

During the trailer, which seems to promise a lot of scenes shot in a desert and several car chases, reveals a band of deviants (Hoult’s character included) capturing Max. They are able to cause Max’s car to crash, finally kidnapping, cutting off all his hair and even branding him. They then face a challenge when rebel Imperator and her team attack them, which seems to lead to Max be saved.

Although it’s pretty clear who the good guys and bad guys are, everything else about the plot is somewhat vague right now. But I guess that’s the point of a teaser. I guess I’ll just have to wait to find out what happens!
