Here's What She Looks Like Without Eyebrows

by Tess Yocom

Yeah, we know: Cara Delevingne has a strong eyebrow game. The British supermodel brought bold, arched brows back into the fashion and beauty world. Why? Because they work for her. After all, neatly plucked brows just wouldn’t go with her grungy, tomboy look. But now we've all seen what she'd look like without them: Givenchy bleached Cara Delevingne’s brows for its Spring/Summer ’15 show at Paris Fashion Week.

Before now, we would have thought that, like Ariana Grande’s giant ponytail or Anna Wintour’s blunt bob, you’ll never see her without them. Well, she pulled a Miley —all in the name of fashion. How did she look? Well — gorgeous still, obviously, but different. The look drew more attention to her nose and cheekbones, which are normally not as noticable. She wasn’t the only one who joined the party. Other models, including Kendall Jenner, spotted the bleached brows on the Givenchy runway as well.

This isn’t the only time we’ve seen extreme eyebrows at this season’s Fashion Week. Designers and makeup artists have gone to all ends to make a brow statement. And why not? Fashion Week is the perfect time to try out new looks.

Here are six wild brows spotted on the runway at Fashion Week. Because, you know, bold lipstick is so last season.

1. Painted Brows

Bleached brows can be quite a change. Not ready to take the plunge? Painted brows are the perfect temporary solution. Brows (oh — and makeup) of all colors was spotted on the Vivienne Westwood runway.

2. Full Brow Piecings

Well, this is drastic. Rodarte models went to the extreme by piercing their entire eyebrows. Do not try this at home. Or do, with some fake rings (which, I'm betting, is really what's going on here.)

3. Bleached

Here we go again. The bleached brow trend was also spotted on the Haider Ackermann runway during Paris Fashion Week. This time, Kardashians not included.

4. Blue On Blue

Why hasn’t anyone thought of matching your brows with you blue hair before? Looks like Badgley Mischka is the first to get in on the trend. Take note for Halloween 2014.

5. Bold & Messy

It's the Cara brow plus a bit of texture. Not a bad look, DKNY.

6. A Touch of Shimmer

Julien MacDonald proved that a hint of color can go a long way. It’s the perfect trend to add a bit a shimmer for a night out.
