9 Reasons Gwen Stefani Kids, Apollo, Zuma, & Kingston, Should Make You Insanely Jealous

Having grown up with No Doubt, lip syncing "Don't Speak" in a hairbrush, and coveting Gwen Stefani's way of wearing plaid pants in concert, a part of me always looked up to Stefani. The feeling grew as I watched her move from the band to having a solo career, designing her own fashion line, and now being a judge on The Voice. Gwen Stefani's kids are really lucky to have her to look up to. Actually, I'm kind of jealous of them, because there's no doubt that she's an awesome mom.

Click through for all the reasons you should be jealous of three little kids, too.

You'll Vacay in the Mountains

Here is Gwen Stefani with her baby, Apollo, in Switzerland. I suspect she’s breast feeding, and hey, if you have to, the best location is in the fresh air near the Matterhorn right?

She'll Take Your First Selfie with a Cow

My young age would not restrain me from taking a proper selfie, especially when it’s with a Swiss cow, and Stefani would make sure I had that memory to cherish forever.

You're Dad Will Be Gavin Rossdale

My dad would be Gavin Rossdale, loving parent, member of Bush, and the rough voice that crooned ”Glycerine” would also croon me to sleep, taking traditional lullabies to a heartwarming, sexy level. I know, it’s a confusing feeling to have.

Your Parents Are Just that Cool

Mom is the “Hollaback Girl.” Dad’s a rocker. They now collaborate on The Voice — he’s an advisor. This might be why their kids have cool names that only musical parents can get away with: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. I can only imagine what sort of interesting name they would’ve given me.

This Will Be Your Family

Looking at face value, No Doubt singles “Bathwater” and “Don’t Speak” sort of sound like lullabies already, and if I were Gwen Stefani’s child, then I would get to hear all the ska music I could wish for. I also wouldn’t need to find a new tape player to listen to my Tragic Kingdom cassette, because I can have it live and in real time.

She'll Help You with the Ice Bucket Challenge

Like in this Instagram post of Kingston taking on the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, Stefani would get the whole family involved and then post it on her social media channels because I, as her hypothetical child, would not have as many followers on Instagram.

You'll Debut at the U.S. Open

Gwen Stefani made six-month-old Apollo’s public debut at the U.S. Open. Name another baby that makes a public debut at a tennis match. Just try.

You'll Have the Raddest Wardrobe

You’ll be a well-dressed baby with Stefani’s L.A.M.B. fashion line. It would be like high fashion meets The Children’s Place.

You'll Have the Best 'Frozen' Sing-Alongs

I take it that she’s a fan, because who isn’t? So we can probably jam out to “Let It Go” because, as mom would say, that beat is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
