How to Celebrate the Holidays Like a Lord

by Marenah Dobin

Even though he is not actually a Kardashian or Jenner, Scott Disick is easily the most entertaining person on Keeping up with the Kardashians. We've watched Disick — I mean, Lord Disick, steal the spotlight on the show and its different spin-offs in various cities. As a faithful E! viewer, I know that the Lord has caused his fair share of drama over the years. Nevertheless, I believe that he is the best thing that has ever happened to the Kardashians — both personally and as a member of the cast. He lives the kind of life we would all want to lead. He is fun and extravagant. Based off of the TV shows and Instagram, I can tell that he's the kind of person I would love to celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's Eve, or basically any holiday with. Sadly, I have no connections to this famous family, so if I can't celebrate with Scott Disick, I will celebrate the holidays like Scott Disick.

What does that mean? First off, it is essential to embody that Lord Disick attitude. He is honest and says what we are all thinking. He is not afraid to call anyone out — Kardashian or not. He gets along with the various rappers who have infiltrated the Kardashian/Jenner family over the years. He is a style icon... in my eyes, at least. I could go on and on about my love for Scott. He is the only Kardashian love interest who has stuck around over the years and this staying power is very telling.

So, how does one celebrate the holidays like a Lord? I have some ideas on how to add some Lord Disick attitude to your traditional holiday spirit.

Wear This Christmas Sweater

Personally, I think this is a cute sweater, but it is very Christmassy. Scott seems to be a huge fan as well, considering how much he wears it. Find a holiday look that you like and make it your signature. Even rock it all year round if you want. Make every day a holiday.

Make a Wardrobe Change

The Lord is famous for getting dressed to the nines. He may not always act like a gentleman, but he always looks like a gentleman. Step it up mid-holiday with a wardrobe change and rock a suit and tie. You never know when you'll be photographed. Plus, you can't post multiple holiday Instagrams wearing the same outfit. As if.

Ask Santa for a New Watch

If you want to feel like Lord Disick, you need to accessorize like Lord Disick. If his taste is too expensive for you, ask Santa Claus to hook you up with some bling.

Go All Out with the Holiday Shopping

Scott is definitely not living life on a budget. If you want to to be like him during the holidays, you need to be a big spender when it comes to holiday gifts. Go big or go home.

Rock Religious Jewelery

Although Scott has been celebrating Khristmas with the Kardashians for years, he is of Jewish faith. Represent any beliefs you may have with some Disick style religious jewelry. He strikes that balance between looking like a boss and also maintaining his faith.

Accept the Family's Kraziness

Whether you have parents who just don't understand you or you're celebrating holidays with a significant other's family, the holidays can be hectic. Most families can be overwhelming during this time of year, but don't stress about it. If you can't beat them, join them. You'll end up having more fun if you have a better attitude and get in on the jokes like Scott.

Get Your Gifts Monogrammed

If you are anything like Scott, standard holiday gifts will simply not suffice. If you think the sweaters and pants you received are almost good enough, then make them perfect by getting your initials monogrammed.

Buy Kardashian Brand

If you don't know what gifts to buy, there's a good chance that there is something from the Kardashian brand of products to suit your needs.

Dance It Up with the Family

The holidays can be stressful at times. When in doubt, dance it out. Nothing relieves tension better than a solid dance party with your loved ones.

Stand By Your Beliefs

Scott Disick has done a lot of compromising to fit in with the Kardashian family, but he still maintains his beliefs when it comes to his religion and holiday traditions by acknowledging his Jewish heritage in addition to celebrating Christmas with them.

Have Fun With It

No matter what happens, you need to remember that the holidays are about fun and happiness. Just take some time to enjoy yourself with the people who matter and you cannot go wrong.
