'Inside Out' Trailer Makes You Feel All The Feels

by Rachel Semigran

I never thought I'd see the day where an animated movie could make me weep as inconsolably as Up did — but it seems with Inside Out on its way, Pixar may finally really, really do me in. Proof: Pixar just released a brand new Inside Out trailer and the results are as delightful as they are heartbreaking.

Inside Out tells the story of an 11-year-old named Riley who struggles to find happiness and joy because the feelings inside of her head got all mixed up. Those little voices in her brain are also the stars of the movie and features a mega-cast of voices: There's Joy (Amy Poehler), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Fear (Bill Hader), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), and Anger (Lewis Black) who try to help Riley deal with moving across the country with her family.

As a young woman who struggled with anxiety and depression from an early age, I felt scared and a little alone in those feelings. Not only does Inside Out bring much-needed little levity to the pains of growing up, it also has the power to bring comfort to kids who might not understand why they feel like crying all of the time or not want to go outside and play. (And they get it from Amy Poehler, no less.)

Here are all the moments in the Inside Out trailer that will make you feel all the feels:

Disgust (With Laughs)

They really never listen, do they?

Fear

Joy and Sadness lost really important memories...but sometimes those confusing feelings are because our head gets mixed up every once in a while, but it's going to work really hard to fix it. Got it.

Sadness

I sure remember that feeling.

Joy

I want to go to there.

Anger

UGH. At least it wasn't KALE pizza.
