Best Look Yet At 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron'

by Nick Romano

If you're one of the millions impatiently awaiting Marvel's upcoming Avengers film, good news: A new teaser for the Avengers: Age of Ultron has just been unleashed by Marvel, and it's jam-packed with all new extended footage. There are new shots of Ultron's sentient army ransacking the Johannesburg, South Africa movie set; more looks at "the twins," Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson); and a complete rundown of the reassembled Avengers team, accompanied by your favorite superhero one-liners.

Honestly, this is one our best looks yet at the movie every fan of Marvel and Chris Hemsworth's Asgardian abs of steel has been looking forward to for months, so you won't be disappointed. (Although, you might think Quicksilver's accent in the film is... well, not what you'd expect.)

We've learned a lot about the two newbies to the Avengers line-up since we first saw them flaunt their skills in the post-credits scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier . Even though we knew these super-powered siblings hailed from afar, I don't think any of us were anticipating such an accent from Mr. Johnson here. I'm almost nervous for Olsen when she opens her mouth.

Still, seeing them in action in this new Avengers: Age of Ultron footage has sent goosebumps up my spine. I mean, just look at this:

Intense doesn't even begin to cover it.

Elsewhere, it's always a welcome sight to see Cap fling a motorcycle over his head like a boss. Even Iron Man recognizes that he's only the Avengers seamstress compared to the star-spangled hero — even though his comments are dripping with sarcasm.

And then, of course, there's Hulk doing what he does best: SMASHING!

There's a lot going on in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and the team will need all of the muscle they can get. In an attempt to create a self-sustaining defense force against enemies, Iron Man creates artificial intelligence in the form of Ultron. However, his creation soon gains a more sinister mind of its own and sets a course for the destruction of humanity. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, after gaining their abilities through Hydra experiments, first side with Ultron in attacking Earth's Mightiest Heroes. But as the new footage hints, they'll soon realize the error of their ways and "walk out that door" to become Avengers.

I can't wait to see it all go down when Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1.
