RDJ Shares First Photo Of His Daughter Avri

by Kadeen Griffiths

I can't be the only one who spends half my time patiently waiting for celebrities to unveil the first photos of their adorable babies. When your favorite celebrity has a kid, you get as excited as if you yourself were getting a new brother or sister — more excited, actually, since you don't have to babysit. Robert Downey Jr.'s daughter Avri Noel was born in November 2014, and not a single hair of the little girl has been seen by the general public. Which is totally cool, of course, since not even famous parents are obligated to sell pictures of their infant children to the highest bidder, but, c'mon, I'm dying here! Luckily, Downey Jr. shared the first photo of Avri on The Late Show on Thursday, and she. Is. Adorable.

"I have three [children]: a 21-year-old, Indio, a 3-year-old, Exton, and now Avri is a little over five months," said Downey Jr. in his introduction to the picture to David Letterman. "I thought I'd show the first picture on planet earth here with you, kind sir." In the photograph, a big-cheeked Avri is staring up at the camera with wide eyes and her mouth open — while wearing a yellow bonnet. Her eyebrows are also nearly nonexistent, but that's all part of her charm.

The CUTE, you guys. I can't handle the cute. I mean, all babies are cute, but children of celebrities just seem to come out that much cuter, reinforcing my belief that being a celebrity gives your skin a glossy glow that just lets people know that you're special. Hopefully, this adorable picture will be enough to tide everyone over until Kate Middleton has the second royal baby. I know I certainly can't drag my eyes away.
