Shane West Reveals 'Boy Meets World' Past

If you're a true Boy Meets World fan, then you probably remember that time Shane West guest starred on Boy Meets World . Me? I loved the series revolving around Cory Matthews, Shawn Hunter, Topanga Lawrence, and Mr. Feeny, but, sadly, I don't recall the that West, aka Salem's John Alden, played Nick. Well, thanks to West and social media, he's reminding us all about his "second gig" ever via #flashbackfriday.

Let me warn you: this is the best flashback Friday photo you've ever seen and will probably ever look at. What's better than a throwback pic of Shane West, Ben Savage, and Danielle Fishel? Nothing, that's what.

Moving on. At first glance, I thought West was actually Eric (played by Will Friedle), but then realized who it was. How fantastic is his hair? Admittedly, West has always had great hair (especially on Salem) and that's proven by this pic. Also, how about that jean jacket? Looking good, West. Looking good. Apparently, the actor agrees with me as he captioned the photo as follows:

#fbf ....to my 2nd gig with two lines and a shit ton of hair. Ahhhh the mid 90's. Boy MeetsWorld.@bensavage @daniellefishel #picoftheday #instadaily #flashbackfriday #me #hugs #hair #mygodthehair #SalemSundays

For those who don't remember, like myself, West played Nick in Season 3, Episode 14 titled "A Kiss Is More Than A Kiss." The episode revolved around Cory and Topanga's breakup, which then led to Topanga kissing another guy. Gasp!

Was his character the guy Topanga kissed? You bet he was. How dare you, Shane West! Thankfully, Cory and Topanga ended up together. Plus, Nick didn't stick around — he only appeared in one episode. Seeing as West then went on to star in Whatever It Takes (where this happened), A Walk To Remember, ER, and Nikita, I can forgive him for kissing Topanga.
