Ashton & Mila Have Huge News!

by Rachel Simon

Well, it's about time. After being friends for decades, dating for three years, and getting engaged last February, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis got married on Fourth of July weekend, according to People. The couple, who are parents to nine-month-old daughter Wyatt, had encouraged rumors for the past year that they'd gotten married, even showing off a suspiciously placed ring during an interview in March. It appeared, however, that any "news" about their wedding was totally false. Until now, that is; on Sunday, Jul 5, a source confirmed to People that the actors had officially tied the knot sometime over the past few days.

Although neither of the stars' reps have confirmed the news (Bustle has reached out for comment, but has not heard back at this time), it's hard to imagine that it's simply another joke by the actors meant to fake out the press or draw some laughs on TV, like their first few wedding hints (seriously, guys, it's not cool to mess with us like that!). The couple have been together for quite some time, not even counting all those years they worked together on That '70s Show. And all those hints at marriage (the ring on The Late Late Show, that New Years' card with the message "Love The Kutchers") certainly indicated that a real wedding would happen before long. Even more, they're now parents to a daughter; it'd make perfect sense if they decided it was finally time to make things official.

It's been a long road for Kutcher and Kunis, who first met on the set of their Fox sitcom in 1998. Although their characters dated on the show, the actors kept their relationship strictly platonic. Over the years, both of them were involved in serious relationships with other people; Kunis dated actor Macauley Culkin from 2002 to 2011, while Kutcher famously married Demi Moore in 2005. The couple divorced in 2012, several months after Kutcher and Kunis were first reported to be dating.

Last February, however, the couple revealed their engagement, and in October, their daughter Wyatt Isabelle was born. The family has kept most details of their lives private, but judging by that leaked Kutcher-Kunis holiday card, it looks like they couldn't be happier. And now, if the wedding report is true, they have one more reason to celebrate. Congratulations, Ashton and Mila!
