Kate Miss Swims In A Sea Of Paisley For Etro

Patterns and prints, especially paisley, can be overwhelming. In Etro's Fall/Winter 2015 campaign Kate Moss swims in a sea of paisley prints — but they never overtake her. The images, shot by Mario Testino, are arresting since the model and her iconic face and pout still stand out, even among all of the shapes and the background swaths of fabric. Even the dreamy dude lounging with her doesn't take away from Moss.

The Italian label's offerings for the coming season are certainly flowing and statement-making. It's a mega glam take on the boho chic trend. You'd have to wear these pieces with supreme confidence so that they don't swallow you or wear you, as opposed to the other way around.

I look at the strength inherent in these Etro pieces and I could totally see stylist Rachel Zoe, who is coming back to TV with a new talk show that I am totally going to watch, wearing any and all of these outfits with huge vintage platform booties. She specializes in pieces with volume that somehow don't overwhelm her petite frame.

The clothes and images also effectively demonstrate how fashion, and fashion photography, can be works of art.

There is a handbag in there! Can you spot the clutch? It's like playing "Where's Waldo?" It's actually where it's supposed to be — in Moss's hand.

This golden print look has an exotic, snakeskin vibe. This look also gives new meaning to "mixed prints."

Don't you love how Moss and her man are all wrapped up in a way where you can't tell where he ends and she begins? This is definitely one of my favorite Fall/Winter 2015 ads so far.
