Caitlyn Looked Chic In DVF At The Races

by Marc Cuenco

It seems there's no bad blood between the two, because Caitlyn Jenner wore a Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress at the Del Mar Racetrack Opening Day in San Diego and absolutely slayed once again with her style game. This was Jenner's first public appearance since making a poignant speech about trans acceptance at the ESPY Awards the night before. She paired her printed red and white DVF wrap dress with a large floppy hat and white T-strap heels.

Jenner's racetrack look was chic and festive, and continued her streak of wearing classic pieces, including her stunning Versace gown. She looked comfortable in her daytime outfit, but given that this was a more casual affair than the ESPYs, Jenner simply looked like she was having the time of her life. The choice to wear DVF was a surprising one since Von Furstenburg was criticized for Photoshopping Jenner's face on her body in a show of support last April.

Aside from her hat (a must for a beautiful day at the races), the Olympian and media personality also accessorized with a black shoulder bag, also by Versace, and matching sunglasses. But even with her elegant stature, Jenner experienced a slight shoe mishap that most women can relate to.

While walking around inside the racetrack, her heels kept digging into the dirt, which made her walking difficult. Fortunately, Jenner kept her poise throughout the ordeal and was able to stand alongside her friends at the races.

Perhaps wedges might be a better idea next time, Caitlyn!
