Thanks to the new television shows and movies coming to Netflix in October, you won't need to walk around your neighborhood in costume because everything from sweet romance to spooky scares will soon be at your disposal. Hell, with a Netflix queue full of heart-warming classics, suspenseful new dramas, and laugh-out-loud comedies, who's going to have time for trick-or-treating anyway? I mean, you might as well go to a party of one in your own home as a "Netflix watcher" this year. All that costume entails is your couch, an open Netflix account, and a bag of popcorn. The kids coming to the door will love it if you manage to throw their candy out the window from the comfort of your couch.

But, on a more serious note, there's just way too much old and new content to catch up on to waste any time going to Halloween parties. After a three and a half year wait, the U.K. thriller, Black Mirror, is finally continuing on the popular streaming service. And, as far as movies go, the independent film festival market is soon going to be at your disposal without you even needing to go to the movie theater.

So, go and grab your pumpkin-flavored beverage of choice. Fall is officially here, and there's no better way to spend your time inside than with these TV shows and movies you can add to your Netflix queue.
