Seattle Bridge Crash Leaves Several Dead

On Thursday, according to the Seattle Fire Department, a bus crash on Seattle's Aurora Bridge left two people dead and several more critically injured. A charter bus crashed into a duck boat tourist vehicle. "Firefighters on scene of bus vs duck tour vehicle on Aurora near bridge ... PIO responding. Will be on northend of bridge ... All patients extricated. Aprox 50 people evaluated. Media SE approach from south," the Fire Department tweeted.

(Update: At a press conference Thursday, officials confirmed that the death toll had risen to four people.)

North Seattle College told the Seattle Times that 45 of its students were on the charter buses. During the press conference, it was confirmed that 44 people had been taken to hospital thus far, and more than 30 were being treated at the scene.
