This Is Why Harper Beckham's Hair Is So Long

One celebrity child is proving the phrase "Daddy's little girl" to be so true. Harper Beckham's hair has never been cut before, and the reason why will literally melt your heart. According to The Daily Mail, David Beckham has never cut his daughter's strands because he wants her to have "long princess hair." Cue the harmonious awww.

In fact, the soccer player has gone as far as forbidding his wife (Victoria Beckham, ever heard of her?) from touching his precious daughter's mane. Can't say I blame him — the tiny tot definitely has some of the most enviable golden locks in all of celebrity land.

In a recent interview with Yahoo, Beckham revealed, "[A]bout a year ago, my wife said, 'Maybe we should cut Harper’s hair.' And I was like, 'No! We need to grow it. Do. Not. Touch.' Since she was born, we haven’t cut it. That’s why it’s pretty much down to her knees." My heart literally just burst into a million pieces.

When asked if he saved Harper's hair, David replied, "I had to. It’s just so good, isn’t it?," Yahoo reported. Yes, indeed it is. I'm glad to know someone appreciates the importance of naturally long beautiful hair — it must be preserved.
