Lance Bass Claims He & *NSYNC Members Were "Inappropriately" Touched By A "Pedophile" — VIDEO

During a Wednesday taping of The Meredith Vieira Show, former boy bander Lance Bass said he was touched "inappropriately" by a "pedophile" during his *NSYNC days. The 36-year-old singer also claimed that this happened to other *NSYNC members, as well. No other members of *NSYNC have spoken about Bass’ claims at the time of publication. The sensitive topic came to light while chatting about Ashley Judd's sexual harassment claims. Bass said, "It happens to men, too. It's a two-way street. It happened to me when I was 16 or 17 years old. When we started there was someone that we worked with that was inappropriately touching us."

Bass continued, "I was even aware then, at 16, that this guy was a pedophile and he was touching me oddly. But I didn't feel victimized at the time because I was very aware of it." He nor his other bandmates never told anyone, but they did talk about it together as a group. Actually, Bass said, they joked about the situation. However, Bass followed that up by reiterating that any type of sexual harassment or sexual assault is not a joking matter. "With the guys, we would talk about it; we would kind of joke about it. But it's not a joking thing," Bass said.

He continued to say that the whole thing was "odd." With that said, he never felt like a victim. "But as a kid, it was just odd," Bass said. "I'm glad that we were aware of it, and we didn't feel victimized at the time."
