Shakira is not gonna shake it and shake it forever, okay? And her "Hips Don't Lie" so when they're done shaking, they're done shaking. The singer/shaker Sharika is on the cover of the February 2014 issue of Glamour Magazine and in her interview she talks about her new duet with Rihanna, her boyfriend preferring meat on her bones, and how she's about more than her sexy dance moves.
Shakira and Rihanna recently recorded a duet together called "Can't Remember to Forget" which will be released Jan. 13. On working with Rihanna, Shakira told Glamour,
She’s the sexiest woman on the planet. And at the end of the day, we’re both just basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher.
Sorry if you were hoping their time together would be divalicious and include a dance battle. Shakira called the experience "utopia."
Shakira also spoke about her boyfriend and father to her baby son Milan, soccer player Gerard Piqué.
My man, Gerard, prefers meat over bone. He doesn't like too skinny. That takes pressure off. I already have a lot to worry about. This month I'm not exercising because I have an album to finish and I have a baby. And I like these pastries in front of me.
Shakira, in addition to being a world-famous singer, is also an ambassador to UNICEF, founder of the Pies Descalzos Foundation that helps Colombian children get a quality education, and is a member of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics... so yeah, she can do more than sing and dance. Shakira told Glamour, "I feel like I'm not on earth just to shake it and shake it endlessly, you know?"
Yep, the shaking has got to end at some point. Well, I mean, she could still occasionally shake it at 70. But I've got a feeling she'll do pretty well for herself without it.
