Amy Adams Sang Karaoke at a Gay Bar & It Was Actually Great
We all knew that Amy Adams can sing (thank you, Enchanted and The Muppets), but after watching her dominate the big screen in a slew of award-winning movies like The Master, Her, and American Hustle, it's easy to forget that, in addition to looking like a real-life Disney princess, she has the voice of one too. So, let Adams herself remind you: Thanks to TMZ, the world has now been blessed with footage of Amy Adams winning at karaoke in a LA gay bar, just days before she took home the Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy or musical film.
The video, which you can see below, features Adams pretty much belting out a song on stage, which you may recognize to be "Defying Gravity" from Wicked. According to TMZ, everyone present in the audience was "impressed" by Adams' performance, "and not just 'cause they were drunk" — they actually had good reason to be, because this is an awesome rendition. Adams seems to have the right vocal range to pull off the song and, as I said — it helps that she looks like a Disney princess personified.
