Zuri Hall Is Ready For The Golden Globes

Having watched many an award show, I’m very familiar with the correspondents that E! sends out for their red carpet coverage. You, of course, have Ross Mathews, Ryan Seacrest, and the ever-present Giuliana Rancic. They’re the dream team! But, it seems like they’ve added another star to their roster — Zuri Hall who has been paired up with Mathews for Sunday's coverage. But, who is Golden Globes host Zuri Hall?

Hall was added to the E! News lineup in July of 2015, hired alongside E! News correspondents Sibley Scoles and Erin Lim, and she’s certainly not a novice when it comes to television hosting duties. Hall previously worked for MTV, hosting The Challenge: After Show and The Challenge: Battle Of The Exes: Aftershow. According to her IMDB page, she’s also made appearances on Big Morning Buzz With Nick Lachey on VH1, E!’s Fashion Police, E! News, 106 & Park on BET, and many more. Besides being a media maven, Hall also runs a successful YouTube channel (called “Hey, Zuri Hall!”) and a blog, AlphaBabe . She’s just creating content from all sides, y’all. Considering she won her first Emmy Award only a year after she graduated from college, I’d say that Hall is really going places.

I, for one, am really glad that there’s a new face on the E! Red Carpet, and especially just in time for another awards season. Sure, the one-two punch of Rancic and Seacrest is effective, but it’s nice to change up the chemistry of these things. Hall’s addition to the scene is adding a dose of youth to the red carpet, and her chemistry with Matthews is undeniable. It totally translates on screen — they’re so much fun to watch. Here’s to a whole awards season of getting to know Zuri Hall!
