Dean's Headed to Rehab, Tori Still Silent

by Ivy Jacobson

On the heels of recent reports that Dean McDermott cheated on his wife of seven years, Tori Spelling, it looks like the rumors are true. On Thursday, Dean McDermott entered rehab, and issued a statement about his choice to check in. He reportedly had an affair with a Canadian woman, Emily Goodhand, while doing promotions for his show, Chopped Canada, on Dec. 6.

"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family," he says to People. "I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."

He didn't address his "actions," but all signs point to his affair being real. Goodhand told Us Weekly that she slept with McDermott twice. She also told the outlet that McDermott told her that his relationship with Tori was a “sexless marriage.”

McDermott and Spelling have four children — Liam, six-years-old; Stella, five-years-old, Hattie, two-years-old, and Finn, 15-months-old. Their life together has been heavily documented from the start, with TV shows Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, and Tori & Dean: Cabin Fever . Spelling has also written several tell-all books about her life: sTori Telling, Mommywood, uncharted terriTORI, and Spelling It Like It Is.

Hmm... McDermott released a lengthy statement, and Spelling still hasn't broken the silence on the situation, except for posting a cheery Christmas message to her fans on her blog. She posted a picture of their four children, and signed it from the family, McDermott included.

Looks like this may not be a story she's ready to tell just yet.
