The 'Downton Abbey' Cast At The 2016 SAG Awards

Unlike basically everyone else, I never really got into Downton Abbey, but that doesn't mean I don't think the cast has awesome style. The cast of Downton Abbey is attending the SAG awards on Saturday night, and I'm sure they are going to absolutely slay in the style category. I mean, with sartorial geniuses like Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, and the legendary Maggie Smith in starring roles, they already have a crazy advantage.

The series is up for a couple of awards tonight: Smith is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series and the entire cast is up for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. It's not shocking, considering how critically acclaimed the show has been since it premiered in 2010, that it would be up for several major awards at the SAGs. As far as fashion goes, Dockery, who plays Lady Mary Crawley on the show, has emerged as the major style star of the cast, often wearing slightly quirky but still regal pieces (like this tailored white jumpsuit). Still, I'm so excited to see what the rest of the actors will wear! After all, they're so used to dressing regally on television, so you know some of those style chops had to rub off IRL.
