In case you’ve been hiding under a rock (or are otherwise preoccupied with the 2014 Winter Olympics, which kick off on Friday), New York Fashion Week is officially underway! But the hottest models of the moment didn’t wait until today to start strutting their stuff. Instead, they took to the red carpet on Wednesday night at the 2014 amFAR New York Gala, looking (predictably) amazing while doing it. We've narrowed down the top 10 looks from the glamorous event (tough job, we know); click through to see which models made the cut.
10. Coco Rocha
Always one to take a risk, the supermodel certainly didn’t hold back with this multicolor Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture gown (though we wouldn’t have minded a more exciting shoe).
9. Behati Prinsloo
There’s no denying that the future Mrs. Adam Levine looks super sexy in this sheer and skintight Emilio Pucci gown, but we feel like we saw something strikingly similar last month on model Miranda Kerr.
8. Chanel Iman
The beauty has been on a minimal, spaghetti strap gown run recently, but she looked oh-so-chic in a simple white Calvin Klein slip dress at the annual event.

Showing off her sexy shoulders and stunning curves, the model rocked a simple red gown with a cool neckline and amazing slicked-back hair.

Hart went the cool girl route, ditching an elegant gown for sleek trousers, a badass feathered coat, a deep red lip, and rock 'n' roll hair.

The gorgeous model simply sparkled in her sequined Kaufmanfranco gown, giving us a glimpse of her impossibly perfect body with a bit of sheer paneling.

Not that the front of her glittering one-shoulder gown wasn’t stunning on its own, but the back of Heatherton’s gown — or lack thereof — is what truly stole the show.

Sure, she doesn’t have to use cut-outs and thigh-high slits to prove she’s sexy, but Kurkova looks so good in this Giorgio Armani number that we don’t even mind.
