Jay-Z and 5 Other Celebs Who Love Miley Cyrus

Jay-Z just became Miley's newest potential name-drop, calling her "a GOD" on twitter after devoting an entire verse to her signature twerking in his new single, somewhereinamerica: "Cause somewhere in America, Miley Cyrus is still twerkin', HA!" Jay is probably the highest profile BFF Cyrus' ever had, and we can't help but be nostalgic for the days when her childhood best friend got her own shout-out in "See You Again." As it turns out, Cyrus' been associated with some seriously unexpected stars on her way to the top. (The top being shout-outs from the king of rap.) Here are our faves:

Kelly Osbourne

Osbourne was the first to show support for Cyrus when she made the jump from Disney star to pantsless pot-smoker. A Google search of both their names reveals a shared love of crazy hair, edgy camera faces and matching outfits.

Vinny from 'Jersey Shore'

I have to assume that Cyrus is over the moon about moving past the days of being Twitter-buds with cast members of Jersey Shore. The two reportedly used to hang out in L.A. and then tweet each other about cute dogs and flying anxiety.

Lil' Wayne

Depending on whether or not you equate being hit on before you're legal to being friends with someone, Lil' Wayne and Cyrus may or may not be friends. From his 2009 song "Every Girl": "In about 3 years, holla at me Miley Cyrus." She's over 18 now, so uh, go for it, Weezy? I guess?

Britney Spears

Cyrus recently got the Spears stamp of approval, which I have to imagine is the best thing that could possibly happen to a '90s-bred pop star: "Loving your new video for #WeCantStop!" Brit tweeted. We smell a future collab.

Lesley Patterson

Okay, so Lesley Patterson isn't exactly a celebrity, but being sung about by Cyrus is just about as close to famous as any of us normal people can hope to get. We sincerely hope that these two are still BFFs, because how cute is this picture?
