May 2 isn't just any ordinary Monday — it's the day of the 2016 Met Gala. Monday night, celebrities are set show up at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing some of the most talked-about fashion to ever grace the red carpet. With each Met Gala there is a theme, and this year's is Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. I can only imagine what celebs will don for this particular theme, especially when it comes to a particular celeb BFF pair. Did you know that Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are attending the Met Gala together? The event just got that much more exciting, didn't it?
While chatting with Access Hollywood last Friday, Gomez dished about going with her bestie. "It’s gonna be the best," she said. "It’s kinda like prom for fashion… I love going and I love going because everyone feels great." As for which designer they will be wearing, the 23-year-old singer remained mum. "I don’t want to get in trouble," she said. "[But] it’s beautiful and it’s so cool." For those unaware, Swift is one of the co-chairs for the 2016 Met Gala, alongside the ever-so-talented Idris Elba.
