Sarah Palin is Coming Back to Reality Television

Sarah Palin is coming back to your television screen whether you want her to or not. The Sportsman channel is creating a new Sarah Palin reality show called Amazing America. Previously Palin was featured on TLC's reality show Sarah Palin's Alaska, but that was cancelled after just one season. The Sportsman channel obviously feels like that was not an indication of the public's feelings about a Palin-centered reality show and has ordered up 12 episodes for the new show already.

Palin says it's "not going to be some kind of fake scripted reality show" but will instead "showcase people, places and things in order to restore, fundamentally, what makes America great." Among these people that make America great is Palin's own family who will be making an appearance. As it's for the Sportsman channel, the show will primarily be about the hunting and fishing lifestyle, so the real mystery here is how they're going to make that into 12 episodes. Here are some possibilities:

EPISODE 1 - GRATUITOUS PALIN FAMILY TIME

Palin loves to show off her family and she's already said the show will include them. My bet is that it will include the family hunting because this is Sarah Palin's America and gun-toting is a family affair.

EPISODE 2 - MOOSE HUNTING

Palin is not afraid to hunt moose on national television and already included some hunting scenes in her first reality show for TLC.

EPISODE 3 - SALMON FISHING

Palin's family owns a sweet little fishing spot in Bristol Bay (of which her eldest daughter is named) and she'll probably want to show off her prime fishing real estate for the world to see.

EPISODE 4 - THE GREAT ALASKA

A show about places that make America great? You betcha for Palin that's her town of Wasilla, Alaska.

EPISODE 5 - HOW TO STOP THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS

Doesn't matter that this show debuts in April, there is a war on Christmas and Sarah Palin is not going to stand by and let it happen.

EPISODE 6 - FLAGS FLAGS AND MORE FLAGS

The promo for the show tells us little about what content we'll be getting but from the background to the heels Palin's wearing it's clear that we'll be getting a lot of patriotism in the form of the stars and stripes.

EPISODES 7-12 - MORE OF THE SAME

This is a show about hunting and fishing and America; that's about it. I'm not quite sure how they plan on dragging that out through a dozen episodes, but perhaps they'll spend one episode on each animal they kill, who knows? We'll just have to tune in on April 3 to find out.
