17 NSFW Milkshakes You Need To Make At Home

If there is one dessert in particular that is definitely having a moment right now, it's the milkshake. There is something to be said about sticking to the classics — your no-frills chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry — but these NSFW milkshakes compiled by Spoon University are really where it's at. They are over the top, dramatic, and filled to the brim with decadent ingredients, and you wouldn't want it any other way. Add a splash of booze to make these really stand-out, or keep them alcohol-free. Either way, they are total show-stoppers, and you can make each and every one of them right at home.

Milkshake mania has taken the world by storm, and it’s not because of Black Tap, despite what they and the rest of the United States would have you think. The milkshake craze all started a year ago at Pâtissez with the “Freak Show Shakes” that were eventually adopted by Black Tap in New York.

It’s impossible to go try all those different milkshakes unless you have a limitless budget. I mean, with traveling to the places and buying the milkshakes themselves? Nope, I don’t have the time or the money.

So, why not bring all those indulgent milkshakes to your home?
