Rose Byrne's 2016 Tony Awards Look Is The Best

by Toria Sheffield

In a slightly unexpected — but extremely welcome — twist, Rose Byrne graced the the 2016 Tony Awards red carpet. The actress arrived with husband Bobby Caffe, and they both look totally amazing (as if there would ever be any doubt).

Byrne opted for a red, ankle-length sequined dress with strips of black fabric down either side, creating the appearance of shawl when viewed from further away. She accompanied the gown with strappy black heels, sparkly dangling earrings, and a black clutch. And rounded it all out with a simple shoulder-length hairdo, with a smoky eye and pale pink lip.

The dress showcases a super unique and bold style choice for the star, and whether you love it or hate, you have to admit she's totally rocking it. I personally wasn't so sure about the look at first glance, but after ogling the ensemble for a few minutes I've decided I'm kind of in love with it. Not to mention hubby Caffe doesn't look too shabby either, sporting an all-black suit with matching black tie.

This has been a pretty awesome year for Byrne. She co-starred in both Neighbors 2 and X-Men: Apocalypse , two of the biggest releases of summer (and both currently in theaters). So basically, she's totally killing it.

Slaying it in black and red.

That neckline is kind of to die for.

And one more for good measure.

Just brilliant.
