Paris Fashion Week Beauty To Inspire Your Weekend

It's hard not to like Paris. In general, the city evokes images of sleek all-back outfits, brilliant architecture, and baguettes — all things I love dearly (especially bread). We're right in the midst of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2014, and with designers like Dior and Lanvin showing amazing collections, it's hard not to feel inspired by all the beauty. And as wonderful as the clothes are, there have been some stunning beauty looks on the runway in Paris this season. Models were sporting hair and makeup that will make you want to try something new and different this weekend.

1. Low Ponytails at Balmain

This is a look that we saw all over NYFW runways, as well. Slicked-back, middle-part, low ponytails seem to be all the rage. Personally, I'm a fan of any hairstyle that works just as well on a Paris runway as it does at the gym. This simple, chic, and (apparently) trendy hairstyle is for every on-the-go fashionista who wants to highlight a stylish outfit, rather than overpower it.

2. Bold Brows at Armani

Yes, okay, it's no big secret that bold brows are pretty popular at the moment (thank you, Cara). But, let's face it, it's a trend that is definitely played up more by celebrities and models than by everyday girls. Why shouldn't we get to participate in such a fierce beauty trend? Take some tips from Giorgio Armani's bold-browed models this weekend while doing your makeup.

3. Colorful Eyeshadow at Dior

Although sparkly, bright eye shadow usually makes me think of the 8th grade when my favorite trend was to make sure my earrings and eye shadow matched perfectly (why?). Dior proved that bright shadow can most definitely be chic. With models sporting saturated tones of forest green and bright blue on their eyelids, we all have proof that bold makeup doesn't have to overpower beautiful clothing.

So, dig into your makeup bag this weekend, and do as the French do.
