Death Eaters Are Coming To Harry Potter World

by Emma Oulton

Spending a day visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the stuff dreams are made of for most Potterheads — but in Japan, it's about to become more like a nightmare. Starting this September, the Death Eaters are coming to Harry Potter world in Japan. By day, Hogsmeade will be as cheery as ever — but by night, the streets will be roamed by the darkest of wizards.

So if you're in the mood to be scared out of your wits, then you better get saving for a flight to Japan at once: the Death Eaters will be hanging around for two months only as part of a special Halloween celebration at Universal Studios Japan. Apparently, the Death Eaters will appear dressed in their trademark black hoods and masks — though hopefully a face-to-face encounter with them won't prove quite as deadly as it did for so many of J.K. Rowling's original characters.

If you were planning to visit with young children, you might want to stick to daylight hours — because this sounds absolutely terrifying. (I'm just using young children as an excuse here; this sounds way too scary even for the grown woman I am.) But don't worry if nightmares aren't your thing: you can still join in the Halloween fun. To celebrate the season's spookiest holiday, you're invited trick-or-treating around Hogsmeade. Fingers crossed for a Chocolate Frog!

I gotta ask though: if the Death Eaters are back in the Wizarding World — does that mean that Voldemort is, too? This can't be good...
