Nikki's Ex Just Came Out Of The Woodwork

by Lia Beck

You would think that everyone who had something to say about The Bachelor would have gotten their opinion out there by now, but that is not the case. There is always an ex waiting for the right time to pop up and spread some gossip with the highest bidding magazine. Nikki Ferrell's ex is surprised she stuck with Juan Pablo Galavis and spoke about his view in the newest issue of Us Weekly.

Ferrell's ex-boyfriend Ryan McDill, who she dated for a year until July 2013, told the magazine, "Knowing her like I do, I'm surprised Nikki acted like everything was fine during 'After the Final Rose.'" As fans of the show saw, Ferrell stuck by Galavis' side during the post-finale special even though he refused to talk about their relationship, didn't admit that he loves her even though she's been open about the fact that she loves him, and, worst of all, was rude to host Chris Harrison.

McDill went on to say, "She normally wouldn't take that shit from a guy. The Nikki I know would have slapped him and walked out." This sounds like a much more reasonable course of action for Nikki after seeing her on the show. Sure, she fell for Juan Pablo hard and fast, but she did come off as someone who stands up for herself as was shown during her arguments with rival Clare Crawley. The fact that she even had a rival on the show when all of the other women seemed to get along just fine, proves that she doesn't hold back her feelings, but apparently that's different with Galavis. Obviously, she's open about her love, but maybe she just isn't as open about the many very obvious issues Galavis had while on the show. It's shocking that anyone who knows what the other women went through with Galavis would stay with him and I think McDill would agree.

McDill shares the opinion widely held by Bachelor fans, but that doesn't mean he should have gone to a magazine to talk about his ex-girlfriend. No amount of money or anti-Juan Pablo passion justifies talking about an ex in a national magazine. Sorry, McDill. No Bachelor Nation membership card for you.
