Sam Scudder On 'The Flash' Is A New Rogue

New meta-human threats aren't the only thing that Flashpoint changed in Barry Allen's universe. There are some bad guys coming to Star City that don't have any powers, but twist their mustaches just as hard. Who is Mirror Master on The Flash ? Sam Scudder's comic book weapon has an interesting ability.

In DC Comics, Samuel Scudder was one of the original Rogues, and not a metahuman. He actually dated Lisa Snart in the comics as well, though his partner appears to be Top in the CW series There's another Mirror Master named Evan McCulloch in the comics. Mirror Master's mirror gun can replay the day's events, turn people into flat glass, which traps them in the Mirror World. That actually happened to Scudder himself when an accident went wrong. He fused with his weapon. While Mirror World sounds like the Upside Down on Stranger Things, it's a little different. Once someone is in the Mirror World, smashing the glass kills them. In order to be released, you have to hold a reflection up to the mirror (even ice works) and then smash the original image. It's so complicated, and I can't wait to see how that translates visually to The Flash.

As for the character, according to the official CW description, "Barry continues to train Jesse and when a new meta human, Mirror Master, appears on the scene he lets her tag along. Mirror Master has teamed up with his old partner, Top, and is looking for Snart to even a score. Jesse is quick to join the chase but defies one of Barry's orders which results in disastrous consequences."

While Jesse Quick may know her way around S.T.A.R. Labs, she isn't as familiar with Captain Cold and his gang of Rogues. I can see how she might get tricked into running with them. It happens to the best of us, even Cisco. Though Leonard Snart has put a toe in the side of good on Legends of Tomorrow, this probably won't end well on The Flash.
